Johnsonite Introduces ARCADE' Rubber Sheet Flooring

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio, Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Balancing function with aesthetics, safety with efficiency and short-term cost with lifetime return is the new ARCADE' Rubber Sheet Flooring from Johnsonite®, the commercial arm of Tarkett and provider of the world's most integrated high-performance flooring systems. Great for most commercial applications, ARCADE delivers the benefits of rubber flooring in sheet form for ease of installation, reduced labor time and less post-installation waste.

Value + Performance for Real ROI
For greater resource efficiency and return on investment, ARCADE provides long life cycle and durability. Fewer seams are needed with ARCADE, due to its six-foot widths, optimizing hallway and corridor applications and providing more cost-effective installation as fewer seams mean less welding.

Made of rubber, one of the most value-oriented flooring options available, ARCADE is naturally slip-resistant and shock absorbing, providing underfoot comfort as well as noise and impact control. Rolls can be flash-coved and are chemical resistant, which makes ARCADE great for education and healthcare applications. ARCADE also meets ASTM requirements.

Seamless Design
ARCADE begins with 20 speckled colorways in neutrals and colors that embrace the meaning of Balanced Choice. And, each colorway carries its own weld rod color for the ideal flooring finish. ARCADE is available in 2mm and 3mm gauges.

ARCADE Rubber Sheet flooring is part of the Johnsonite flooring system, which also includes linoleum, homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyl, stairwell solutions, finishing borders and transitions. The company's integrated color palette runs across its full range of flooring solutions to help create efficiencies that pay-off for the end-user in real lifetime return. Every element is designed to work together functionally, aesthetically and logistically.

Environmental Responsibility
ARCADE is made in the USA in an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified plant, assuring quality and a positive environmental impact. ARCADE contributes to improving indoor air quality, as it is FloorScore® certified as well as phthalate- and halogen-free. ARCADE is also part of the Johnsonite ReStart' Reclamation Program, which allows for unadhered jobsite scraps to be collected and returned to the company to be repurposed for other products or uses, ultimately reducing the impact on landfill.
