Young Women Strategize for Success with the help of Junior Achievement, PwC US and Halliburton
HOUSTON, Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, October 16, 2013, 65 female students from 12th grade at Incarnate Word Academy in Houston will participate in the Fifth Annual Young Women's Leadership Conference. The goal of this ground-breaking day of networking, time management and career building is to encourage students to set personal and professional goals that will contribute to their future success. Co-sponsored by Halliburton, PwC's Houston office, and Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, more than 30 executive women volunteers from Halliburton and PwC will be paired with the students to help develop networking and social media skills, interview skills and learn about cultural dexterity and diversity in our ever-growing global economy. In addition, personal mentoring will contribute to building the student's self-esteem and creating relationships that will last throughout the year as the young ladies prepare for college.
