COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --The battle for bragging rights between The Ohio State University and The University of Michigan will extend beyond the gridiron this year, as fans of each team support their local Komen affiliate in the inaugural The Game for the Cure Fundraising Challenge. All fans who donate between now and November 25 have a chance to get TWO tickets to "The Game" at Michigan Stadium.
Here's how it works: we're asking Buckeye fans to donate to Komen Columbus and Wolverine fans to donate to Komen Mid-Michigan. For a $25 donation, your name is entered in a drawing - $100 gets your name entered four times! Each affiliate will draw a winner who will get two tickets to the game and other game day goodies. We'll notify winners on November 26.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and much needed funds for both Komen Affiliates," said Katie Carter, executive director at Komen Columbus. "The need for life-saving breast health services has increased in our community and this fundraising challenge is a fun way to help us meet those needs and to help ensure we beat Michigan on and off the field."
