WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Census Bureau will provide embargo-period access to the 2010-2012 American Community Survey estimates that will be released to the public on Nov. 14. In addition, a new American Community Survey briefs will be available on the embargo site: Home Value and Homeownership Rates: Recession and Post-Recession Comparisons From 2007-2009 to 2010-2012, which uses the American Community Survey statistics to focus on homeownership rates and home values for smaller areas.

Embargo subscribers will have access to the estimates on Tuesday, Nov. 12, up to 48 hours in advance of the public release. (Note: Your embargo username and password will only work once the embargo has started.)
The American Community Survey is the source of small-area estimates available on a wide range of important statistics about people and housing for every community across the country and in Puerto Rico. These estimates cover a three-year period (2010-2012) and are available for areas with a population of 20,000 or more.
When: Tuesday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m. EST
Who:Only members of the media who have applied for and received embargo access may join. See the Census Bureau's embargoed releases page for more information. The embargoed information may not be published or posted online until the public release on Nov. 14.
Access: The information will be posted in the media embargo area of the Census Bureau website on Nov. 12, at approximately 10 a.m. EST. Only members of the media with current embargo passwords may access the information. Embargo access will end at 12:01 am on Nov. 14.
