The Hornet Retrofit Kit fits easily and quickly into most six-inch recessed line voltage housings/cans with torsion springs. With easily field-changeable beam spreads including 15-degree Spot, 28-degree Flood and 45-degree Wide Flood optics, the Hornet adds flexibility that was unavailable with standard recessed fixtures.
The Hornet Retrofit faceplate reduces the six-inch aperture to just over 2.25 inches, giving the ceiling a much cleaner aesthetic. It also is standard with 0- to 20-degree lockable tilt for precision aiming, which is not available in current six-inch downlights.
The retrofit is available in 2700K and 3000K correlated color temperatures, with a CRI of 85, Center Beam Candlepower of 6183, an L70 lumen life at 50,000 hours and up to 830-lumen output. The fixtures work with electrical systems 120v-277v. Energy Star® rated for 15-degree and 28-degree distributions in 3000K.
Hornet Retrofit uses an electronic constant current LED driver and Triac dimming, which ensures compatibility with existing dimming systems.
Trim finishes are offered in Matte Black and Matte White.
