LOS ANGELES, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Cumming, an international project management and costconsulting firm, announced today it will be providing Energy Management services to Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) for the planning and development of the District's Proposition 39 Energy Expenditure Plan.
Cumming's Director, Christine Marez, will oversee Prop 39 energy benchmarking, technical energy assessments, the identification of eligible projects, the preparation of detailed energy calculations and will assist with program administration. In addition, Cumming will support GUSD by interpreting and navigating through the Proposition 39: California Clean Energy Jobs Act 2013 Program Implementation Guidelines, which was unanimously approved by the California Energy Commission in December 2013.
GUSD is eligible to receive a $1.2 million first year allocation, and plans to be one of the first school districts in California to submit for the energy funding.
