SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- McLaren Formula One fans gathered at last Sunday's Arizona Concours d'Elegance, cell phones poised and ready to capture a shot of gleaming paint and exposed carbon fiber. The Concours is over, but it's not the last chance for locals to get up close with the newest super car in town.
McLaren Scottsdale brought three cars to the Arizona Biltmore on Sunday: A 204 MPH McLaren 12C Spider, a stripped-down chassis that display's the 12C's space age construction and a Pagani Huayra, which is also offered at the new Scottsdale dealership.
Arizona gear heads and exotic car buyers who missed their chance at the Concours are able to see the McLaren cars up close at this weekend's Barrett-Jackson classic car auction. The Scottsdale dealership brought some of the 200+ MPH supercars out to the event at West World this week.
Barrett-Jackson is the largest annual auction of rare and classic cars in Arizona. A line up of ex Formula One racers, vintage classic cars and modern exotics will roll on to the auction block on live TV all throughout the week.
