MAXIS SELECTS BRIGHTSTAR TO DEVELOP NEXT-GENERATION
MOBILE DEVICE SERVICES PLATFORM
Miami and Kuala Lumpur, Feb. 25, 2014. Brightstar Corp. today announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement to provide Malaysia's leading mobile network operator, Maxis, with next-generation mobile device services, which will enable Maxis to further its leadership position in the market.
The new agreement builds on the logistics services Brightstar has provided Maxis since 2007. Brightstar will deliver a range of supply chain services, including logistics, strategic sourcing and device portfolio management, along with specialized value-added services, like buy-back and trade-in and handset insurance. Brightstar will also drive and implement an innovation roadmap for new Maxis products.
