(YORK, Pa.) - Teamster members, leaders and York County legislators will join together at a press conference on Wednesday, March 5 to defend the state against the threat of a Paycheck Deception Bill (HB 1507) which is an outright attack on workers' rights.
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives is on the verge of introducing this bill, No. 1507, which would hurt middle class families by weakening unions and lowering wages.
York's mayor, C. Kim Bracey, and Rep. Kevin Schreiber will join with Teamsters to denounce the bill and bring to light its damaging effects on middle-class families.
