Blueair Showcases How 'Seeing Is Believing' at 2014 International Home + Housewares Show

CHICAGO, March 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --THE INTERNATIONAL HOME + HOUSEWARES SHOW/BOOTH L11915 -- Blueair, the leader in holistic indoor air purification, today heads south on Lake Shore Drive for its annual display at the International Home + Housewares Show at McCormick Place. Blueair will be showing off the world's most luxurious and award-winning air purifier, the Blueair Sense, in addition to providing visitors to its booth with a captivating demonstration of air purification in action through the company's 'Smoke Box' as part of company's "Seeing is Believing" theme. Headquartered globally in Stockholm, Sweden, and nationally in Chicago, Blueair will be amongst the 2,100 companies showing off the latest products in the housewares marketplace at the industry's premier annual show.

The Blueair Sense was released nationally to consumers at last June's Dwell on Design Conference in Los Angeles and will be on display at the IHHS with national consumer availability for the first time. The high-tech consumer air cleaning system was developed in conjunction with Sweden's world-famous Claesson Koivisto Rune architecture and design studio. Built with environmentally friendly materials and proven to purify indoor air of allergens, viruses, and other airborne pollutants, the tastefully designed Sense offers motion sensor controls, high-efficiency electronics, and whisper silent operation for the most discerning consumers. Blueair's line of high-end purifiers removes 99.97% of particles in the air fast and efficiently. Lowering the concentration of airborne pollutants has been shown to reduce headaches, colds, cough, allergies, and other common ailments.

Attendees at the show can visit the Blueair booth in the "wired + well expo" to see how air purifiers actually work to rid the air of pollutants through its revolutionary 'Smoke Box.' The Blueair team will be holding live demonstrations for those stopping by the booth to be amazed as an enclosed display containing a Blueair air purifier is filled with smoke, which in a matter of seconds is engulfed by the purifier.
