Cardinal operates a dedicated refrigerated shuttle program for UNFI that provides just-in-time deliveries of consolidated products from their network of distribution centers across the country. The program spans over 6 million annual miles transporting temperature sensitive products to and from 15 different locations. The award criteria included measured metrics in on-time performance, product temperature integrity and fuel saving initiatives.
