hopTo Expands Productivity App with Integration of Egnyte and Mac File Connector

CAMPBELL, Calif., April 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- hopTo(OTCQB/OTCBB: HPTO), the most comprehensive mobile productivity workspace, now supports the Egnyte enterprise file sharing platform, adding to its already extensive catalogue of file storage access.

hopTo version 2.2 also includes a Mac OSX File Connector, making it possible for even more people to take advantage of the hopTo productivity app. hopTo users currently have access to Microsoft Office® files (Word® documents, Excel® spreadsheets and PowerPoint® presentations) within cloud storage services like Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and now Egnyte - all from the iPad.

"Egnyte and hopTo have a similar mission in that we want users to be able to access files securely from mobile devices from any location. Whether it's cloud storage, local storage or a hybrid of the two, Egnyte and hopTo are redefining file access and productivity," said Eldad Eilam, CEO, hopTo. "By integrating Egnyte, we are further bolstering our offering as a true small office/home office (SOHO) and small/medium business (SMB) mobile productivity solution."

Within the native iPad workspace, the hopTo app lets users multitask with several files and storage locations (now including Egnyte) open at once. Users can now easily connect their personal or work PC or Mac and cloud storage for full remote access to documents and files whenever, wherever they are needed.

"We understand the need for businesses to provide employees with secure access to 100 percent of their files so they can work seamlessly anytime and anywhere," said Rajesh Ram, Egnyte cofounder and vice president, product management. "This integrated offering gives companies of all sizes the ability to create and edit content from a secure mobile connection, which will give them a true competitive edge in today's always-on and constantly-connected market."

hopTo is available for free on the Apple App Store: http://appstore.com/hopto under the name "hopTo (Office Cloud Editor & Viewer | Cloud Browser | Mobile Productivity Workspace)."

Favoritenwechsel
