ORLANDO, Fla., April 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Celebration Pointe Community Development District No. 1 (the "District") has been established by Alachua County, Florida to provide public infrastructure and related services to the planned Celebration Pointe mixed-use development ("Project"). The Project is being developed by Celebration Pointe Holdings, LLC. The boundaries of the District include approximately 212.44 acres of land located within Alachua County, Florida lying within Section 15, Township 10 South, Range 19 East and, more precisely, north of Archer Road (State Road 24), east of Lake Kanapaha and west of Interstate 75. The District is also located within the boundaries of the Celebration Pointe Transit Oriented Development, which has been approved by Alachua County.
The Project is planned to include approximately 310,150 square feet of retail, 431,120 square feet of office, 120 hotel rooms, 138 urban flats, 150 senior living units, 110 townhomes, and 455 apartments at build-out. The District plans to issue one or more series of special assessment revenue bonds during the 2014 calendar year to fund a portion of the District's capital improvement program ("CIP"). The District's CIP is estimated to cost a total of $69,290,000 over several phases of construction.
