SEATTLE, April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- IGT (NYSE: IGT), a global leader in compelling casino gaming entertainment, announced today that Will Daugherty will join IGT as General Manager of DoubleDown Interactive.
A seasoned veteran of the e-commerce, online travel and mobile industries, Daugherty most recently served as Vice President of Amazon Payments, where he led the business to substantial growth in number of customers and revenue. Previously, as President of Destination Services and Expedia Local Expert for Expedia, Inc., Daugherty delivered sustained revenue and profit growth, established a new brand, and launched operations in multiple international markets. He has also held executive roles at AT&T Wireless and McKinsey & Company.
In his new role, Daugherty will oversee the day-to-day management of DoubleDown Interactive. He will focus on continuing to grow revenue and player base while expanding distribution platforms including mobile and international.
