SAN FRANCISCO, April 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists (SPSSCS) today announced Elena Reyes, C-RMA, RST, as its new president. SPSSCS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of education, enhancement of clinical skills, and the delivery of safe quality skin care provided to patients from the offices of plastic surgeons.

Reyes is a licensed Master Aesthetician with experience in medical aesthetics, and holds an International CIDESCO Diploma. She has been involved inthe medical/surgical field for over 13 years as an Allied Health Care Professional, Master Educator/Instructor in Esthetics and holds two Associate of Applied Science Degrees, as a (C-RMA) Medical Assistant and Registered Surgical Technologist. For the past 12 years, shehas worked with board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Christopher Hauge, and Dr. James Hoyt as their Registered Medical Assistant and Registered Surgical Technologist.
