HOUSTON, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --BBVA Compass is establishing its presence in North Carolina, leasing space in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce building for its new loan production office, bank officials announced today.
BBVA Compass bankers will move into the fourth floor of the five-story building at 330 Tryon St. in the city center this summer.
"BBVA Compass' expansion into Charlotte speaks to the strength of our financial services sector as well as the city's thriving international presence," said Bob Morgan, the chamber's president.
The Charlotte location is one of several loan production offices BBVA Compass received approval to open to help expand the bank's commercial loan offerings beyond its Sunbelt footprint. BBVA Compass now has approval to open loan production offices across the United States in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, Tenn., Columbus, Ohio, and Raleigh, N.C.
