CANTON, Mass., April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --LoJack Corporation (NASDAQ: LOJN), a provider of vehicle theft recovery and advanced fleet management solutions, today announced the appointment of Joe Castelli as Vice President, Fleet and Commercial Operations. In this new role, Castelli will be focused on continuing to grow LoJack's Commercial Equipment and Fleet Management business.
Castelli has 30 years of automotive, fleet and commercial sales experience with global companies, brands and markets, and was previously the Vice President, Commercial Vehicles & Fleet, for Nissan North America, Inc. During his successful stint with Nissan, Castelli established and led the company's fleet business, consistently growing market share and profits.

Prior to joining the Nissan North America executive team, Castelli spent more than 23 years at Ford Motor Company. During his tenure at Ford he was responsible for expanding the company's market share of Class 2-7 vehicles, which includes light, medium and heavy duty trucks, to 41 percent of the total commercial industry category. Working within the Ford dealer network and more than 200 outside partners, Castelli successfully drove the company's entire commercial truck business. Castelli earned a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's in business administration from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
