B. Riley 15th Annual Investor Conference Update: 250 Presenting Companies; Expert Panels; Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation Charity Boxing Night Returns For 5th Year

LOS ANGELES, May 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --B. Riley & Co., LLC (B. RILEY), (www.brileyco.com), a leading, full service investment bank announced today that 250 companies are scheduled to present at its 15th Annual Investor Conference. The conference will be held May 19-21, 2014 at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, 1700 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica, California.

The three-day, invitation-only conference features an expanded and compelling lineup of companies selected by the B. RILEY Research Department, which has consistently ranked at the top of the charts in independent stock performance surveys. Represented industry sectors include: Consumer Products; Consumer Hardlines; Retail; Apparel & Footwear; Internet; Telecommunications; Optical Components; Software & Services; Semiconductors; Semiconductor Capital Equipment; Special Situations; Auto, Marine, Trucking & Power Sports; Media, Entertainment, and Advertising; Healthcare IT and Aerospace & Defense.

B. RILEY also announced that the conference will feature three expert panels including:

A Monday, May 19th luncheon panel entitled "Would You Join This Crowd for $50 Million?-This Part of the JOBS Act Earns an A+". Panelists will cover the recently enacted JOBS Act with particular focus on Title 4, Regulation A+. The Securities and Exchange Commission is in the process of finalizing rules for this new capital raising avenue.

The session will be moderated by John Hogoboom, Partner, Lowenstein Sandler, PC. Panelists include: Allen Sussman, Partner, Loeb & Loeb; Bryant Riley, Chairman, B. Riley and Dylan James, Managing Director, Nasdaq OMX Group.

A Tuesday, May 20th breakfast panel entitled "The State of the Capital Markets" will cover capital raising trends in the equity markets and will include an overview of trading activity, IPOs, Follow-on and Secondary Offerings, and Registered Direct Offerings.

The session will be moderated by Andy Moore, Managing Director, Head of Institutional Equity Sales, B. RILEY. A Tuesday, May 20th luncheon panel entitled "Life in the Post-Recession Lending World-Want It, Need It, How to Get It", will address credit markets, capital availability, current lending requirements and the outlook for debt financings. The evening will feature a ProAm fight card commissioned by the California State Athletic Commission and USA Boxing and include several professional and amateur bouts. The charity boxing event benefits the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation and its work with juvenile diabetes and childhood obesity.
