Access Group, Inc. Welcomes Elise Miller as Vice President of Research Programs

WEST CHESTER, Pa., June 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Access Group, Inc. is pleased to announce, the appointment of Elise Miller as its Vice President of Research Programs.

As the inaugural leader of the newly formed Research division, Elise will spearhead the development and implementation of the company's research programs, including in-house initiatives and the funding, oversight and evaluation of third-party grants and programs in support of access, with an emphasis on enhancing diversity, affordability and the value of legal education. In addition, Elise is charged with creating a data repository that can support Access Group's research objectives specifically and those of legal education more generally. Elise and the research division will be based in the Access Group Washington, DC office.

Elise, an experienced research and policy professional, brings substantial depth and knowledge of the higher education research space to Access Group, having previously worked in the government, association and foundation arenas. For the past two years, Elise has served as a Senior Program Officer, Postsecondary Education at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Her prior experience includes service as Program Director, Postsecondary Institutional Studies Program at the National Center for Education Statistics and Director for Research and Policy Analysis at the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. Elise earned a B.A. at Catholic University of America, a M.S. at the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently completing coursework toward a Ph.D. at the University of Maryland.
