BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass has promoted veteran bankers John "Rusty" Davis and Jim Park to senior vice presidents in correspondent banking.
The senior relationship managers help financial institution clients with cash management, credit liquidity, portfolio strategies and international transactions, among other services.
Gallatin, Tenn.-based Davis works with community banks in Tennessee and Kentucky while Park works with financial institutions in Alabama and Mississippi, helping them utilize BBVA Compass' correspondent banking services.
Davis has worked at several banks and financial institutions in Tennessee and Georgia since starting his banking career in 1989. He received his bachelor's degree from Bethel University and his graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Park received his bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and his graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He joined BBVA Compass in 2011. He has worked in the financial services industry for more than 30 years.
