Avcorp appoints new director

VANCOUVER, July 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Avcorp Industries Inc. (TSX: AVP) (the "Company" or "Avcorp") announces today the appointment of Mr. Peter C. George to its Board of Directors effective July 10, 2014.

Mr. George has over 25 years' experience as a senior executive in the aerospace and industrial manufacturing industry in North America, the UK and Asia. Mr. George has worked closely with industry leaders including Boeing, Airbus, Northrop, Spirit, Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Cessna.

The Board now includes David Levi (Chairman), Ray Castelli, Jaap Rosen Jacobson, Kees de Koning, EricKohn TD, Elizabeth Otis, Mark van Rooij (President and CEO) and Peter C. George.
