Textura ranked No. 14 on the Crain's Chicago Business inaugural Job Creators list, based on Textura's staff growth of 248% in the Chicago area from 2010 to 2013. Textura, which is based in Deerfield, Illinois, had 223 full-time Chicago-area employees as of Dec. 31, 2013.
Crain's Chicago Business is an award-winning weekly magazine covering the Chicago business landscape. The magazine's 2014 Job Creators feature recognizes the 15 Chicago companies that experienced the greatest employment growth from 2010 to 2013. To be eligible, a company had to be located in the Illinois six-county area of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will. Companies also must have had at least 10 full-time employees as of Dec. 31, 2010, and at least 50 full-time employees as of Dec. 31, 2013.
Crain's in June named Textura to its 2014 Fast Fifty list as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Chicago area. Textura ranked No. 8 on the Fast Fifty list, based on revenue growth of 1,932% from 2009 to 2013.
