Lincoln College of New England Expands Bachelor's Degree Offerings

WEST ORANGE, N.J., July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (NASDAQ: LINC), a national leader in specialized technical training and a driving force in helping students turn their passion into professional success, will expand its Bachelor's Degree program offerings at Lincoln College of New England (LCNE) in Southington, CT this Fall. The Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration - LCNE's fifth Bachelor's Degree program - will complement the college's 2-year Associate's Degree program in Business Management, giving current and future LCNE students the flexibility to further their studies while avoiding the challenges of transferring between institutions.

"We're excited about the possibilities this opens up for our students and our college," says Kathryn Regjo, LCNE's President. "Many prospective students who visit our campus fall in love with the welcoming atmosphere, the personal service students receive, our small classes, and the fact that they can learn from industry experts. At the same time, they're often more interested in a Bachelor's Degree program. Being able to expand the LCNE Bachelor's Degree offerings is a win for students who desire an affordable, private, four-year degree from an institution focused on career success."

Regjo adds that the College intends to focus its efforts on building future Bachelor's Degree programs that are in concert with its Associate's Degree offerings, thereby expanding its array of two-plus-two options. Students may now choose from 15 such Associate's Degree programs in Allied Health fields such as Dental Hygiene, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Health Information Technology, Medical Assisting, and Nutrition; Business programs such as Business Management and Accounting; and Professional Studies such as Mortuary Science, Human Services and Criminal Justice.

Complementing these Associate's Degrees now are five four-year degrees in Business Administration, Health Information Administration, Funeral Service Management, Criminal Justice, and RN to BSN-a Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion program for current RNs.
