Evolving Gold is a Canadian-based gold exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of natural resource properties.
Due to the difficulty raising financing for resource projects, the company has cut back on some of its commitments. The company recently eliminated $325,000 of debts by issuing 16,250,000 shares at a deemed price of $0.02, along with reducing its management fees. It also optioned its 100% interest in the Rattlesnake Hills Project in Wyoming to NV Gold Corporation for a combination of cash and shares.
The company is now focused on drill intensive exploration of properties believed to have potential for the discovery of bulk tonnage and/or high grade gold deposits of significant economic interest, most notably on its discovery properties at Carlin, Nevada, a high grade Carlin gold system, and Jake Creek, Nevada, an epithermal gold system.
At the Carlin Gold Project, gold grades, widths and depths are similar to existing gold mines on the Carlin Trend. The large Jake Creek land position is 100% controlled by Evolving Gold and consists of 58 square kilometres hosting bonanza-style veins with grades to 11.3 grams per tonne gold.
Evolving Gold is trading at $0.01 and with 162.6 million shares outstanding the company is capitalized at $1.6 million.
