HOUSTON, Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Detechtion Technologies, the world leader in compression optimization and fleet management services, announced today thatJorge Ordonezhas joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Jorge will be based at Detechtion's Houston office.
Previously Jorge was CFO for Energy Solutions International, a software and service provider for the Oil and Gas pipeline industry. Before ESI, Jorge was Finance Director for ION Geophysical, a global seismic software, equipment and service provider to the Oil and Gas industry. Jorge developed and led the Financial Planning and Analysis team at ION during the time the company grew from $500M to $700M in revenue. Prior to ION, Jorge held various finance and accounting positions in public healthcare logistics and service provider companies.
Jorge brings twenty years of finance and accounting experience in private equity backed and international public companies including eight years in software and technology for the Oil and Gas industry to the Detechtion leadership team. He graduated with honors with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Iberoamericana University in Mexico City and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
