The Federation regionale des arts et du patrimoine de la Baie Sainte-Marie is eagerly preparing for the next Festival de Clare-te.
The Government of Canada has awarded $7,100 in funding to the federation for this festival. Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The funding, provided through the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage Program, will support the third Festival de Clare-te, which will be presented from March 19 to 22, 2015. The festival's program will offer a wide range of activities, including music, dance and theatre performances, an art show, poetry readings, and workshops featuring the talents of more than 75 local artists, artisans and historical heritage performers.
