Media iQ Appoints Former SMG UK CEO Stewart Easterbrook as Strategic Advisor

LONDON, September 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --


Media iQ today announced the appointment of former Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) UK CEO Stewart Easterbrook, as a Strategic Advisor to Media iQ. This move signals Media iQ's ambitions to continue to invest in developing its global footprint and product portfolio.

Paul Silver, Chief Strategy Officer at Media iQ, said: "Stewart needs no introduction. He brings with him second-to-none experience and leadership in the media industry from over the last 20 years. To bring on board someone with his experience and expertise represents how far we have come in just under 4 years. We are excited at the contribution he will make to the next chapter of our growth."

Stewart has an impressive background and brings with him over 20 years of experience, holding key management positions at the largest media groups in the UK. Most recently Executive Director of Performance & Digital Development for SMG EMEA and prior to this CEO of SMG for over 5 years, his roles have had him involved in the management and operation of the UK Group Board alongside the International Hub which is also run out of London. Prior to this he also held the roles of Group Managing Director and Operations Director at MediaVest.

On his appointment, Stewart, said: "I have first-hand knowledge of how significant Media iQ's contributions to the advertising technology industry are and how they are growing, so am happy to be joining Media iQ at a pivotal moment where I will be part of shaping the future plans."

Stewart's joining, reinforces the ambitions of Media iQ to transform the way clients look at data informed marketing. He will be instrumental in helping the business and supporting the board in a number of ways, especially in areas of strategy, product and business development.

A cricket fan, and an avid supporter of Watford FC, Stewart lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife Jill and three children children; Evie, Thomas and Tess.
