CANACCORD GENUITY GROUP INC. DISCLOSES
CANCELLATION OF SHARES AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS



TORONTO, December 1, 2014 - Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. (the "Company") (TSX:
CF, LSE: CF.) wishes to announce that the remaining 202,600 common shares held
in treasury from purchases pursuant to the normal course issuer bid (NCIB)/
buy-back programme announced on August 8, 2014, were cancelled effective as of
November 28, 2014.



The Company has purchased 354,883 common shares under the NCIB which authorizes
it to purchase up to 5,100,049 of its common shares between August 13, 2014 and
August 12, 2015. All of these shares have now been cancelled.



For the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules, the Company announces that as at November 30, 2014, the
total number of common shares in issue was 102,313,665 with each share carrying
the right to one vote. This total may be used by shareholders in the Company as
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the
share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
