From Dec. 15, 2014 to Jan. 14, 2015, citizens of the U.K., France, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Austria can sign up online for a free self-driving trip to Sichuan, and two lucky "panda fans" from each country can win the opportunity.
The activity, "Trip to Southern Silk Road, Home of Pandas," will recruit 12 citizens from these six countries to form a team with experts, scholars, cultural celebrities and reporters. The team will set out from Europe in April 2015, driving across 15 countries and finally arriving in Chengdu.
The recruitment starts from Dec. 15, 2014. Citizens from these six countries who love China and pandas, like self-driving and photographing and are eager to travel to Sichuan can sign up for the trip as long as they have about two months' free time. Panda fans can visit www.tsichuan.com, fill a form and answer some questions (all related to Sichuan, the answers can be found on tsichuan.com) to sign up for the trip.
The committee will select 60 candidates from each country to enter the competition. From Jan. 16 to 25, 2015, the committee will select two candidates from each country and all the candidates can get special prizes provided by the committee.
