PASADENA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/31/14 -- This year's edition of the game played at the Rose Bowl Stadium will be the first of a couple kinds. It will be the first semi-final game in college football history and, it will host the first ever Game Day Chef Challenge Grand Finale.
The contest, sponsored by Chevron, is a fun and innovative cooking competition in which football fans and foodies vie for a $25,000 Grand Prize and bragging rights for the best game-day recipe. The unique hook is that each contestant's go-to recipe must include at least one food or beverage item purchased from a Chevron or Texaco station.
