The EPM Leadership Summit is being held February 25-27, 2015 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, with workshops beginning on February 24. The Summit was first announced in September 2014 as a part of the EPM Education Series, an initiative by the company's leaders to enhance user access to higher quality content on SAP BPC and EPM topics in general, while creating a vibrant network around the platform.

Three tracks of content (Executive, Technical, and Functional) will be running concurrently throughout the Summit, allowing attendees to choose which sessions best fit their needs in each time slot, and many qualify for CPE credit. Highlights include seven different Customer Success Stories, an open round-table, and sessions focusing on the cloud, specifically SAP Cloud for Planning. "We know that there is growing interest in the cloud, and new options for EPM that come with it. We also know people want to hear from their peers, and learn from other implementations. Column5 strives to be timely and up-to-date, and these sessions cover current topics of importance," says Den Boer. The agenda also includes details on the Mastering EPM Workshops happening the day before the Summit officially begins. These are all-day intensive hands-on training sessions, again focused on need-to-know information for different roles within the EPM environment.
In addition to the informational sessions at the EPM Leadership Summit, there will also be plenty of time for networking, including a reception at the Hyde in the Bellagio. The event will be a time for attendees to mingle with Column5 and SAP experts. According to Den Boer, "This is really about building a community of those tackling real world challenges with EPM technology every day. There needs to be open dialogue between those in the EPM field, and we want to do our part to open those lines of communication."
With 45 unique in-person sessions, plus hours of online content, Column5 emphasizes the value of their Annual Pass to the EPM Education Series. Not only does it include access to the EPM Leadership Summit and a Mastering EPM Workshop, but also to Column5.TV, a virtual conference environment. The first event was held in November, with all content now available on-demand to subscribers, and there will be additional live sessions in May and July 2015.
