MAJOR SHAREHOLDER NOTIFICATION


TORONTO, March 9, 2015 - Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. (the "Company") (TSX: CF,
LSE: CF.) announces that it today received notification that RBC Global Asset
Management Inc. crossed on March 5, 2015, the 5% threshold for notification and
are now interested in 5,156,774 common shares of the Company, representing
5.06% of the total number of common shares of the Company in issue as of
February 28, 2015.
