TRICOLOR SPORT PLC
Clarification of circumstances relating to the suspension of the Company's shares
Tricolor Sport plc's ("the Company") changed its financial year end in 2014 and
as a result filed its annual accounts with GXG later than the timeframe
stipulated by the Market Rules.
All filings have now been brought up to date and the directors have reiterated
their commitment to ensure that all future filings are made on a timely basis
On 11 February GXG imposed a fine in relation to this; the non-payment of this
fine has resulted in the current suspension.
Tricolor Sport plc has, for a number of months, been claiming back from GXG
Markets VAT that has been incorrectly charged by GXG on invoices rendered to
the Company. Whilst GXG have accepted that the VAT has been incorrectly
charged, the Company is still awaiting a credit note in relation to this
matter.
The directors will offset that credit note against the outstanding regulatory
penalty. Discussions are on-going and it is hoped that this matter can be
speedily resolved and the suspension of the shares lifted.
