PEORIA, Ill., April 20, 2015 -- Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT/Euronext: CATR) today filed its definitive proxy
statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") to inform its stockholders that it is holding
its 2015 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on June 10, 2015 at the Columbian Theatre, 521 Lincoln Avenue,
Wamego, KS 66547 beginning at 8:00 a.m. The items of business are noted in the proxy statement.
Stockholders of record at the close of business on April 13, 2015 will be entitled to notice of and to vote at the
annual meeting and any adjournment or postponement. Anyone wishing to attend the annual meeting in person
must have an admission ticket issued in his or her name. Admission tickets will be issued in accordance with the
requirements specified on page 52 of the proxy statement.
