kCura Releases Relativity 9.2 at Relativity Roadshow in London

-- Newest Version of e-Discovery Software Introduces Cluster Visualization for a More Interactive Way to View and Act on Data, and Makes NoSQL Option Generally Available for Increased Scalability

Available to the general public on May 29, Relativity 9.2 introduces cluster visualization, which allows you to gain quicker insights into your data, work with documents and concepts in new ways, and improve investigative review workflows. With cluster visualization, you can:

  • Control What's Brought into Focus -Whether working with all of your documents or a subset, you can investigate your data in layers with an easy-to-use interface.
  • See Where Concepts and Work Product Intersect - Overlay metadata and subjective coding information on top of clusters to uncover patterns in your data or gaps in your analysis.
  • Change Perspective Instantly - Drill into key groups of documents and quickly see all highly related clusters.
  • Take Action - Tag documents for further review and analysis to get them into the hands of your case team right away.

"Our customers have analyzed nearly 3 billion documents with Relativity Analytics and continue to push more and more data through every month," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "However, there is still only a small percentage of cases in the overall Relativity universe using Analytics. We believe this technology is useful in almost every e-discovery matter, and we want to continue to make it faster and easier, helping our customers see the story their data is telling every step of the way."

Announced at Relativity Fest 2014, Data Grid-a NoSQL option that allows you to offload data from SQL Server to a horizontally scalable data store-will be generally available with the release of Relativity 9.2. Data Grid increases the size of cases you can run, provides insight into your audit data, and makes monitoring and maintaining your environment easier than ever.

"With Data Grid, we'll be able to keep up with the exponential growth in volumes of data and relieve the pressure that's put on SQL Server," said William Wilkinson, head of forensic technology at BDO. "Our clients will be able to run larger cases more efficiently, while managing backend resources and reporting on audit data will be much easier. Data Grid is a must-have for our customers."

Relativity 9.2 includes more than 100 new features for the Relativity stack, including the ability to collect from Gmail with Relativity Collection, improvements to native imaging and production capabilities, more control and visibility into backend processing resources, and a redesigned UI for the Relativity mobile application, Binders. Attorneys can take advantage of Relativity Fact Manager's updated timeline builder to easily and accurately organize the facts of their case.

Additionally, there are new ways to build on the platform. An Integration Points application makes it possible to connect third-party data sources to Relativity-with a built-in connector to tie custodian data to Active Directory-while Event Handler Express allows users without technical knowledge to build advanced workflows and conditional coding logic.
