The availability of free conferencing solutions are putting pressure on prices and license sales. This pressure makes prices more affordable and attractive for Small and Mid-sized Businesses (SMBs) to adopt video solutions and also helps drive the market in the medium to long terms.

Web conferencing as a service continues to witness higher adoption than on-premise software, as hosted Unified Communications (UC) services are expected to become mainstream, particularly among large enterprises. Furthermore, growth is expected to continue to be steady - especially for the SaaS mode of deployment. In addition, enterprises are investing in cloud-based UC services and this trend is expected to continue in the future.
