Public Training Courses Focused on Best Practices for Embedded Software, Reliability, and Security Coming to Munich in November
Embedded systems engineers and software developers in Europe will have access this November to in-depth, specialized training courses aimed at helping them build safe, reliable, and secure products. Barr Group, industry experts in the reliability and security of embedded systems, today announced plans to host several of its most popular embedded systems training courses internationally for the first time in Munich, Germany.
Barr Group specializes in teaching vendor-neutral, embedded systems training courses focused on software reliability and security for a variety of industries, including automotive, medical, defense, industrial, consumer, and Internet of Things. Attendees will benefit from instructors' hands-on expertise and industry knowledge in electronics design, software development, and computer security, while they learn to build high quality software, eliminate firmware defects, and use best practices to secure their embedded systems.
The three Barr Group courses to be presented include:
- Embedded Software Boot Camp (09-13 November 2015) provides engineers and software developers with hands-on exercises to strengthen their skills and improve the reliability and safety of their embedded software.
- Firmware Defect Prevention for Safety-Critical Systems (16 November 2015) -teaches best practices for coding standards, coding inspections, and static analysis, including the latest version of the MISRA C Coding guidelines.
- Best Practices for Securing Embedded Systems (17-18 November 2015) -strengthens skills needed to harden embedded systems to prevent vulnerabilities and detect the most popular types of attacks.
"As embedded systems become increasingly software dependent, technology companies face more scrutiny over their software development process and more pressure to ensure security and reliability in their products," said Andrew Girson, Barr Group's CEO. "Barr Group's embedded software training courses teach software teams best practices in architecting their software systems and improving engineers' ability to create safe, secure, and maintainable code."
