Moki Mobility Inc.: PayPoint Selects Moki to Manage Deployment of Next Generation Point-of-Sale Terminals

Moki Will Provide Comprehensive Remote Management, Security and Analytics of Android-Based Payments Systems for Leading International Payments Provider

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM and LEHI, UT--(Marketwired - July 01, 2015) - Moki, a software platform providing cloud-based management, security and analytics for Customer Facing Devices, today announced that PayPoint, the global leader in payment technologies, has selected Moki's Total Control system to manage the deployment of its next generation Point-of-Sale terminals in the UK and internationally.

PayPoint -- who handle over £14 billion from over 800 million transactions annually for more than 5,500 clients and merchants -- has chosen Moki to implement and scale a new generation of industry-grade payment platform terminals. The agreement covers deployment of Moki software to those outlets in PayPoint's 37,000 strong retail network that need stand-alone terminals and also allows for substantial growth, as needed.

Moki Total Control will provide the remote management, security and policy-based compliance of all PayPoint's in-store payment devices, enabling PayPoint to upgrade payments infrastructure, deploy innovative new services, generate more transactions and better extract and analyse data.

"By implementing Moki Total Control, we are able to engage retailers, merchants and consumers across a multi-channel payment spectrum as well as aggressively expand our international footprint in a dramatically more seamless and scalable fashion," said Jon Marchant, CIO of PayPoint. "With comprehensive remote management, we can enable two-factor security and remotely update firmware and OS builds. We are especially pleased about advanced support features like Remote Control, which will allow PayPoint to take total control of our devices from anywhere around the globe."

PayPoint's selection of Moki followed a highly competitive process involving major hardware producers and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) vendors. Moki also worked with PayPoint to help with terminal design and supplier shortlisting to meet the demanding specifications. PayPoint's customers include major financial services companies, retailers, utilities providers, media, e-commerce and gaming clients and government agencies.

"As one of our largest deployments, we are thrilled to be working with innovative global payments leader PayPoint on a major, multiyear global operation to expand new services and stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving payments landscape," said Tom Karren, CEO of Moki. "In-store payments are the cornerstone of the customer experience and enable our partners to create and nurture brand loyalty. The combination of Moki's built-in security, over-the-air remote management capabilities and PayPoint's cutting-edge payments technology will set a new industry standard for scalability, ease-of-use and customer engagement."
