TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 08/31/15 -- Pizza Pizza, Canada's leading pizza chain, is kicking off its third annual Campus Tour on August 31, and making stops at 10 university campuses across Ontario and Quebec.
Pizza Pizza's ambassadors and food truck will be decked out in a festive pepperoni pizza print and spreading their love for all things pizza. The team will be giving away samples of pizza, featuring Pizza Pizza's new and improved recipe -- now made on a thinner crust, dusted with durum semolina flour and home-style sauce made from 100 per cent GMO-free, vine ripened tomatoes. The new recipe is rolling out across the country and these students will be among the first to give it a taste.
Students will be able to join in Pizza Pizza's new ShareTheMoment campaign and win prizes by taking a photo in the pepperoni pizza photo booth and posting on social. Last year, over 16,000 slices of pizza were given away during the school visits.
