Canaccord Genuity Announces New Head of Securities in UK & Europe Capital Markets Operations

LONDON, Sept. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - Canaccord Genuity is pleased to announce that Mark Iannotti will join the firm as Managing Director and Head of Securities, UK & Europe, effective September 29, 2015.

Mr. Iannotti brings more than two decades of broad capital markets experience to his role. In addition to an extensive track record as a top-ranked equity research analyst in the international oil and gas sector, he has a working knowledge of financing and operating challenges facing growth companies through his board and private equity experience. As Head of Securities, UK & Europe, he will focus on further improving Canaccord Genuity's coordination of sales, trading and equity research offerings, and strengthening the firm's coverage of institutional investors in the region.

Reporting to Alexis de Rosnay, Mark will also work closely with investment banking to ensure a consistent service offering for clients of our capital markets business in the UK & Europe, and stronger collaboration with global capital markets operations.

Mr. Iannotti began his career at Wood Mackenzie Consultants, where he was focused on the Asian and Indian-sub continent energy markets. He has subsequently held senior research positions at Cazenove & Co., Credit Suisse and Citigroup and served as a member of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's EMEA Executive Committee and Head of its EMEA Equity Research Division. Most recently, Mark was a partner of private equity boutique, Lothian Partners. He is a founding shareholder and will continue to serve as director of Savannah Petroleum.
