Balich Worldwide Shows Celebrates the 550th Anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate

Expo 2015 is set to be an important international stage for the professionals involved.

Thanks to the success of the exhibition on the "Italian Identity" set in Palazzo Italia, the main building of the Italian Pavilion, and the Tree of Life, the icon of the exposition, Balich Worldwide Shows has been called out to Astana to celebrate the 550th Anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate with a big live show and to also introduce to the world the site of the upcoming international Expo.

In fact, after President Nazarbaev's visit to Milan's Expo, together with the Kazakh Minister of Culture, BWS has been selected to celebrate the traditions and innovation of the "Eternal Country". The amazing ceremony, which will take place today at 7pm in Astana at the newly-built Barys Ice Arena in Astana, will reach its peak with the celebration of Expo Astana 2017, the first international exhibition hosted by a Central Asian country (June 10th-September 10th 2017, with the theme "Future Energy"), as a promise of future peace and tolerance made by the Kazakh population to the world.

In nearly a month a group from BWS has been able to create a lavish live show for an exclusive audience, which will include presidents of fellow countries Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Those who will see the show live or by streaming will have the chance to take a good look at the history of Kazakhstan, thanks to the readability of the ceremony's storyline which states national identity and celebrates Kazakh's proud land.

The exclusive event unravels the history of Kazakhstan, the "Eternal Country", starting from the book of its President, Nursulan Abishevich Nazarbayev, "Tarikh Tolkynda". It will be a show capable of joining tradition and contemporaneity: from rough customary dances to new futuristic technologies.

The scene, created in the Barys Arena by Studio Giò Forma, evokes an immense Yurta, home of the Nomads, where they gathered to tell stories and pass down their identity.

The show involves the best actors and dancers of the nation: the artistic body is composed by 3,000 Kazakh performers supported by the most modern technologies, such as video surround, to wrap the audience into an unforgettable view, and the Scene Sound, a specifically produced soundtrack full of unique music and poems, weaving modern pop songs and folk melodies.
