Atul Mathur Named Executive Vice President of DaVita Global Operations

DENVER, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita HealthCare Partners (NYSE: DVA), a leading global provider of kidney care services and the leading independent medical group in the U.S., today announced that it has named Atul Mathur as executive vice president of global operations. Mathur has served as president of the Asia Pacific region since joining the company in 2011.

"We are excited to have Atul widen his focus on laying a strong foundation for our expanding international operations," said Kent Thiry, chairman and CEO of DaVita HealthCare Partners. "We also see a significant opportunity to develop high-quality, high-service outpatient care networks in a growing number of geographies."

In his new role, Mathur will take on additional responsibility of leading global strategy as well as organizational and international business development.

Mathur previously enjoyed a 20 year career with American Express where he was SVP ofInternational Strategy, Business Development & Partnerships based in London. He and his wife Suniti will continue to be based in Singapore.
