Beta Systems is extending its workload automation portfolio with the job scheduling solution Streamworks from arvato Systems. The two companies are working together on the basis of a reseller partnership. Beta Systems, the Berlin-based datacenter software specialist, will sell Streamworks together with its own solutions. Streamworks excels as a modern, decentralized job scheduler with extensive functionality for enterprise workload automation. It complements the Beta UX Suite - with its ContentMaster, DistributionMaster and LogMaster components - for companies wanting to manage their applications enterprise-wide and across all platforms.
arvato Systems, part of the Bertelsmann group, runs its job scheduling software Streamworks in its own system environment, which processes about 4.5 million streams (batch jobs) per month. Streamworks benefits companies in that it provides enterprise-wide process documentation, runs and documents processes automatically, continuously monitors processes, and collects and delivers data for process analysis and optimization. This modern solution also features a self-service portal and an intuitive user interface.
