Pöyry awarded design assignment for underground parking facility in Helsinki, Finland
YIT has awarded Pöyry with an assignment for the design of the Töölönkatu parking facility in Helsinki, Finland. Pöyry will be the head designer for the project, covering the geotechnical, rock, architectural and structural design of the underground parking facility. YIT will be responsible for the construction of the facility. The project will commence in November and be completed in spring 2019.
The parking facility will consist of three floors offering parking spaces for 800 vehicles. This new parking solution will boost the development of the Töölö district from the points of view of housing, businesses and services. Töölön Pysäköintilaitos Oy is the owner of the project.

The value of the order will not be disclosed. The order will be recognised within the order stock of Regional Operations in Q4 2015.
