NEW Amba Hotel Marble Arch opens for Business

LONDON, December 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

Amba Hotels today announces the opening of the new Amba Hotel Marble Arch following a multi-million pound refurbishment to the iconic London hotel venue. Located just steps away from Oxford Street, every element of the new hotel has been overhauled, in what is one of the most ambitious London hotel refurbishments in recent years.

The second hotel in the Amba Hotels portfolio, Amba Hotel Marble Arch's location makes it the perfect base for exploring London's West End shopping district, as well as a stone's throw from iconic sites such as Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall.

Crammed full of touches that make a big difference to guests, Amba Hotel Marble Arch has some of the largest bedrooms in the West End (average at 33sqm), Hypnos beds (as supplied to the Royal household), complimentary Nespresso® coffee machines in all bedrooms, walk in rain-fall showers, complimentary mini bars and over-sized toiletries - all as standard.

But, it doesn't stop there. Amba Hotel Marble Arch offers guests free seamless technology from the moment they enquire, through to check-in and departure, and everywhere in between. This includes:

  • The capability to choose your own room when you book direct, putting the guest firmly in control
  • The Amba Hotels Mobile Valet app which lets guests explore the hotel, order room service and enjoy an express online check out
  • USB sockets next to the beds for convenient charging, and international sockets
  • Free super-fast, unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the hotel so guests remain connected
  • A tablet in every room for guests to use throughout their stay, perfect for skyping family and friends or browsing for new restaurant openings
  • Smart TV's in every room let guests link up their own devices and watch their favourite subscription channels

Putting the guest at the heart of the offer continues through to food and drink. The new Amba Hotel Marble Arch has banned the usual tray charges that are added as standard in many hotels which means guests can eat where they fancy with the same menu at the same price offered from restaurant to the lounges or their room. So, whether they choose a steak from The Grill (all ingredients locally sourced) and eat it in The Bar, a cup of tea from The Deli to drink in the Lounge or a cocktail from The Bar which they have in their room, they pay the same price as listed on the menu - with no add-ons to the bill for delivery.

The Amba Hotels team is also trained to offer something a bit different. Unlike other hotels where staff are in siloes, the team at Amba Hotel Marble Arch are driven by a philosophy to welcome guests as if they were visitors to their own home. For guests this means the bar team can provide a restaurant recommendation, the concierge will deliver a glass of wine and check-in staff will help hail a cab - all part of the personal service.

Belinda Atkins, Chief Executive Officer for Amba Hotels said: "We're hugely excited to be extending our Amba Hotels portfolio with such an iconic London hotel venue, known throughout the world. This has been one of London's biggest hotel renovation projects in recent years - and the work that has gone into the new Amba Hotel Marble Arch is further demonstration of our commitment to listen to guests and design every detail of our hotels based on their input and feedback."

Exclusively for launch, guests can stay at Amba Hotel Marble Arch from just £169 including a complimentary room upgrade, breakfast, plus save 20% on food and drink until 31st March 2016. http://www.amba-hotel.com/launchoffer

Zeitenwende!
