St Patrick's College held their third graduation ceremony of the year last week at St Mary's Church in Marylebone, with nearly 350 students graduating.
Students from a variety of courses graduated, including HND Business Management, HND Hospitality Management and HND Law, to name but a few.
St Patrick's Principal Professor Daniel Khan delivered a passionate and motivational speech to mark the event.
He encouraged students not to allow adversities to deter their dreams, and advised them that strong dedication and determination will help them succeed.
Amol Gurung, Director of Enterprise and Student Experience at St Patrick's College,said: "I am very happy to see yet another cohort of St Patrick's students complete their courses, and I am sure everyone at the college wishes them success in their future.
"We are proud of every student that comes through our doors and value all of their contributions highly, which is demonstrated by the awards we give out at each graduation."
Two technology students were awarded the Principal's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement:
- Marius Moraru, who graduated with 15 Distinctions and 1 Merit
- Sukhdev Jassi, who graduated with 14 Distinctions, 1 Merit, and 1 Pass
Students who have shown the most enterprising business skills were honoured with the Dean's Award for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, these were:
- Natalja Ruckina, who achieved 6 Distinctions and 6 Merits and 4 Passes in HND Business Management
- Maria Joao Almeida Lopes, who achieved 11 Distinctions, 3 Merits and 2 Passes in HND Hospitality Management
So far, over 600 students have graduated with a full HND this year.
Mr Gurung added: "We are also extremely pleased with the dedication of our staff, who work so hard to help our students achieve their academic and career goals. Each person we inspire to improve their lives shows that our goal of widening access to education is thriving. I look forward to celebrating many more graduations in the future."
