The 8th edition of the Forum des Relations Investisseurs, organised with the support of SFAF, AFG, CLIFF, Middlenext, Euronext and IFA, has gathered today IROs of some 100 French listed companies, including half of CAC40 companies.

The Forum started as usual with its Grand Débat, a panel discussion on the IR topic: " Slow down of growth and development of corporate financing through debt instruments: which consequences on equity story and IR ?" with high-level speakers including Sophie Javary, Head of Corporate Finance EMEA, BNP Paribas, Patrice Lambert de Diesbach, Head of Financial Communication & IR, Orange, Philippe Berthelot, Head of Credit & Structured Credit, Natixis AM, and Grégory Sanson, CFO, Bonduelle.

The Forum hosted the 8th edition of the French IR Awards rewarding the best IROs and companies listed on Euronext Paris for the quality of their IR practice. Winners are designated as a direct result of a survey conducted by SFAF (French Financial Analysts Society) and NFR-Advisory (Editor of the Forum) amongst French and foreign financial analysts and investors. The French IR Awards are organized under the surveillance of a Grand Jury including respected market professionals and chaired by Jean-Paul Pierret, President of the Issuers Commission at SFAF.

The winners for this 8th edition are:

  • Isabelle Posth, SEB, in the category "Best IR Overall"
  • Carlos Tavares, PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN, in the category "Best IR by a CEO", for the second time in a row.
  • Jean Cheval, NATIXIS, in the category "Best IR by CFO"
  • Philippe Santi, INTERPARFUMS, in the category "Best IR by a Mid Cap"
  • Sébastien Valentin, ACCOR, in the category "Best IR CSR Information"

Second and Third in each of the 5 categories are also presented with an award (see full award list in appendix below).

New regulation, new information channels, activism, economic and political uncertainty, new CSR expectations from all stakeholders are the challenges that IROs and listed companies are facing.

Today more than ever, quality financial communication and IR are keys to companies' durable growth and value.

The Forum and the Trophies are the occasion every year to recognise the quality of the work of the French IROs and promote best practice and financial transparency.
