Kwittken bolsters senior team in London

Former Orange Comms Chief, David Taylor and consumer tech specialist, Gary Wilson join UK office of high-growth international comms shop

LONDON, Feb. 17,2016 /PRNewswire/ --Following strong growth across 2015, international PR agency, Kwittken, part of MDC Partners Inc. (NASDAQ: MDCA, TSX: MDZ.A)announces two senior additions to its management team in London, hiring David Taylor, formerly the Head of Communications for Orange-France Telecom Europe and consumer technology PR specialist Gary Wilson. These new hires underline the agency's commitment to broadening its offer for clients in the UK and in Western Europe and are the latest in a number of new and significant team additions to the London office since Sam Bowen joined as Managing Director in 2014.

David Taylor has a 20 year corporate communications track record specialising in technology and telecoms, working with brands such as BT, France Telecom and Vayant, the world leader in airfare search innovation. As Director of Content, he will lead Kwittken London's new content arm, Agenda, building on its strengths in editorial content, helping to develop new and existing commercial partnerships and broadening the London office's creative offer in visual communications.

Gary Wilson, who joins from boutique technology agency, TinDrum as an Associate Director, will help to lead and further shape the London office's consumer technology arm.A natural born communicator with a strong commercial acumen, Gary's experience in tech PR for both consumer and B2B clients spans two decades and includes work for both large blue chips such as Fujitsu-Siemens, Intel and Philips and also younger, disruptive start-ups such as Morphy, El Gatto and Atomic Floyd. Having also helped technology brands with their digital PR and marketing strategies, Gary will be playing a key role in assisting and advising clients on the most effective use of digital and social media. Gary also held senior commercial roles at Dennis Publishing and IDG Communications.

Sam Bowen, Managing Director, Kwittken London commented: "It's a genuinely exciting time for us as a global business and for our dedicated office in London. In 2015, we experienced strong growth from both existing and new clients, helping them to achieve greater brand awareness and audience engagement across traditional, digital and social channels. We're thrilled to have David and Gary join us in our new offices in Kings Cross, to add further weight to our senior team and to help maximise the opportunities which are presenting themselves. We have big aspirations for 2016 and I have no doubt that we have the right team and determined mindset in London to continue into the next phase of our growth."
