The video service features a library of over 600 CBC titles including fan-favorites like Dragons' Den, Heartland, and Murdoch Mysteries. As a strategic, end-to-end technology, IBM Cloud Video's Clearleap platform has powered the roll out of the service, which includes geo-fencing capabilities, enhanced accessibility including closed captioning and described video, complete search and discover functionality and management of a consistent, premium cross-screen viewing experience.

"Our collaboration with CBC demonstrates the company's continued commitment to innovation, and to making its content broadly available on every screen, platform and device through an excellent user experience," said Braxton Jarratt, General Manager of the IBM Cloud Video Unit and co-founder of Clearleap. "At IBM, we are committed to providing the Cloud platform on which CBC can continue to push the boundaries of the user experience, and bring both high quality content and more choices to a growing viewer base."

We worked with IBM Cloud Video because they know what it means for a broadcaster to be digital," said Lauris Apse, Director of Digital Products, CBC. Vorsicht, geheim!
