LONDON, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Today, EDMI, a global smart meter solution provider, has announced that it has signed a contract with one of the large energy suppliers in Great Britain to provide 500,000 smart meters as part of the energy supplier's residential smart metering rollout.
This agreement marks the first SMETS2 meter award for EDMI, building on the contract award to supply SMETS2 communication hubs to the north of Great Britain on behalf of Arqiva. It will see EDMI Europe Limited supplying both gas and electricity meters.
